Memories...From the corners of your mind!

Salvador Dali, "The Persistence of Memory," 1931

I've seen this one out there all over the place. It's been so fun to read and to think fondly about those that are playing!!

What you do is...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments!

I remember the first time we met at Cafe Rio. You were the first person I saw and I'll be honest, I was really nervous! You were walking in the door and I was so relieved to see your friendly face, I gave you a hug right there. You were probably like, "Um, hello, complete stranger."

Anyway, I had such a fun time visiting and you completely made me feel like a total celebrity. I'm pretty sure I blushed.

And I have to share another memory--the last time we met and you said in a perfect twangy accent that you were in kid hell. I still blurt that out from time to time, because it was so funny!

I remember when you said you were big enough to carry the watermelon up the stairs aall by yourself and wouldn't take no for an answer, then when you almost got to the top, you "did it on accident" and dropped it. It went bouncing down the steps breaking as it went. Oh ha ha that was a good one!

Okay, I have many memories of you. Way back, I remember your family always having a puzzle out to work on. I remember you would always save the last piece (hide it even though it made your sisters crazy) so you could have the glory moment of completing the puzzle. I also remember you alway had money (it's that Tyler gene) & I remember Shauna always trying to borrow money from you.

More recently I remember our trip to Long Beach for Hunter's Memorial. It was such a crappy/painful time, but being with you and how GOOD you were with all of us especially Adam and Rachel made it better. And, even though it was a hard and fast trip (there & back in one day) it was fun to be with you. I now think of you whenever I visit an In & Out Burger.

I remember when we were at the Kangaroo Zoo and I was so not feeling well being just pregnant and Gage got throw up on him from the slide and you LITERALLY took his pukey t-shirt, washed it out for me in the bathroom and sat while it DRIED under the hand dryer. I thought-"Wow this is one nice person" honestly, you are a genuinely NICE, funny, caring person and I am sooo glad we met! Have a great 4th of July weekend!!!

I have a couple:

1st. We were dating, you gave me a “HUGE hickey” on my back, which my Mother and Brother saw while I was putting a shirt on. I think I told them I fell down, they did’ent buy it, since it had your teeth imprint in it. There after, you could not look my Mom in the eye for a few weeks.

2nd. You were in labor with Tag, they rushed us to the Emergency C-Section (I was scared out of my mind). You were on the spinal med’s, which made you “loopy”. You went on, and on, and on, (all in a Southern accent) about how good-looking the Anesthesiologist was, to the point of making him uncomfortable.

3rd. How absolutely stunning you were that winter night we all went up to my cousins cabin. You were on the lower deck, with your back to the creek, it was almost dark outside, and your eyes just stopped me. (and now we have three kids).

After three years of friendship you said, "I finally realized that I am not your project". So glad we are over that! Thanks for the great friendship! Love ya! I loved what everyone else said about you.

The first memories go back to Buttler Middle School and Brighton High School. We did so many crazy teenage girl things such as cramming into your little car and blasting the music, chasing boys, putting street barricades in people's yards (Baugh), and having SO MUCH FUN! Also, I'll never forget when you worked at Training Table. Your drink of choice at the time was a large Dr. Pepper with two coffee creamers. You would always say, "try it! You'll like it!" Or how about the time when you worked at Hot Dog On A Stick...you said, "I have no pride" I must say you did the Lemon dance better than anyone else and rocked the uniform! Most of all I have memories of you always smiling and happy. I am so blessed to have you as a friend!

I remeber dancing with you at a party at Ashley D.'s house! I think we were sophmores. I thought it was a way cool party because there were so many people there! Afterward we drove around in a guy named Blake's (I think) car. I just remember it being a really fun night!!!

your making out in the back of Stephanie's jeep :)

so so many more!
Good times!!!

You are such a great friend! Love ya!

There are so many good memories of my little sister, I will always remember "Where are we?" on our way to MT. I have a memory of us running in the mud into Fort Peck Lake yelling something, do you remember that? I guess I always asked you for money because I spent all of mine on birdey whistles.

Where do I begin--
Late night phone calls, training table, you dropping by a cheese on a stick, spying on the boys, and of course visiting you at baskin robbins and wrecking my car on the way home! What fun life has been with you in it!!
