Well, Wednesday's over and so it the optimisim.
Last night my kitchen sink backed up and today the Plumber came.
We didn't notice that the dishwasher hadn't properly drained due to the back up.
SO...
This is my one-person-at-a-time kitchen today!
So Fun!
p.s. love this plumber...so good, quick and reasonable! REALLY!

Nooo! That is awful, I feel so bad for you. I am glad that you have a good plumber and a friend named "Bubbles" to keep you on the up and up.
Sorry Beck, that is so not fun especially with your hard wood floors. Hang in there. Hopefully your kitchen problem will be resolved soon.
Arg! I understand. Tuesday I paid to have a garbage disposal replaced and Wednesday the dishwasher wouldn't drain and there was a puddle in the basement. So Saturday I get to pay to have that fixed. I CAN'T WAIT!
That's all any mother needs is a kitchen full of bubbles! You have such a great attitude! Sure love ya!

That really sucks. Did it ruin your hardwood? I had a similar thing happen and it warped some of my cabinets below my dishwasher-SUCKS! Glad you found yourself a good plumber, hang on to his name!

Come one Becky. I'm sure you have something positive to say about a backed up dishwasher. Don't let me down. No really, that is too bad. Good thing you were home to catch it before it got too bad. Hopefully your beautiful floor is ok.
I'm with Amanda, it is a good thing you were home to save your wood floor. That is such a bummer. I hate when you have to call repair men!!!
